The Home Counties group met at the end of March.

As it was a reduced group we decided to postpone the trip to Knole House (New date TBC late May/June) and met at The Inn on The Green in Ockley for a tasty lunch and a walk through the pretty countryside there.

Natalie Exall came along for the first time, which was lovely, hopefully she wasn't too bored with all the kids/school talk!

For more details on this group and the next meet up Contact Amanda on 07527751022 or Caroline 07966645255 if you can make it.

The Home Counties Friendship Group met up on June 5th at Southwater Country Park. Surrey.

It was great to meet up at the end of half term and enjoy such a sunny day after the terrible half term weather. Everyone enjoyed the newly built playground area where we enjoyed our picnic. It was lovely to cool off in the lake where everyone had fun splashing around.

And, of course, ice-creams to end with! Our next meet up will be Sunday September 11th at the Look Out Discovery Centre, Nine Mile Ride, Bracknell, West Berkshire RG12 7QW.

Contact Amanda on 07527751022 or Caroline 07966645255 if you can make it.

The Home Counties Friendship Group met three times over the summer and we were lucky enough to have beautiful sunny weather each time. There were lots of exotic animals at Drusillas Park as well as a petting zoo, and the girls had a lovely time especially in 'Hello Kitty Land'.

Hever Castle was a very popular venue, lots of families met up and we had a picnic in the gardens. It was a fabulous day with Jousting, ice creams and cooling off in the Water Maze.  Many thanks Brendan and Aida for suggesting Aldenham Country Park where we met up at the end of the summer. There was so much to see and do the children were running from playground to pet corner, and the pony rides were a definite highlight for the girls!

Caroline has organised a great get together at Polesden Lacey in December where there will be Christmas decorations, sleigh rides and you may even see Santa! In February we are going to meet up at Chessington Zoo for their 'Winter's Tail' event and in April we are visiting Groombridge Place in Kent. Please let us know your ideas for places to meet near you so we can get some more dates in the diary.

If you would like to join us at any of these get togethers let us know so that we can look out for you. Best wishes, Susan, Amanda and Caroline.

The newly formed Home Counties Friendship Group had its first meeting in January this year, in Berkhamsted.  Six families turned up on a cold, wet afternoon and were greeted with posh coffee and plenty of cake.  Many thanks Duncan and Michaela, it was great for the girls, mums and dads to meet and chat.  We had another get-together at a country pub in March.  It was such a lovely sunny day we ended up sitting in the garden nattering and watching the kids play on the climbing frame and slide.

We’re getting lots of ideas for places to meet (many thanks Brendan and Caroline), and if there is somewhere near where you live that you think would be great for a get-together please let us know.

We have two dates organised for the summer (Drusilla’s Park on 29th June and Hever Castle on 19th July), and two new dates for your diaries (Aldenham Country Park, on Saturday 13th September, and Polesden Lacey on Sunday 7th December).

Let us know if you would like to join us at any of these meetings so that we can look out for you.

Best wishes,
