Life has been busy for lots of us so had been a while since we had managed to get together. It was lovely therefore to meet up again today   - it had definitely been too long!

A group of us met in the cafe at the Ulster Museum and had a great couple of hours chatting and catching up over tea, coffee, hot chocolate, scones and tray bakes. Not to forget the yummy sweets a few of the Mums provided. The children are all growing up fast and it was lovely to see the lovely young ladies they are becoming. Lots of great news of successes both in and out of school and a fantastic display of Irish Dancing

Some of the group had made it over to the Conference this year which was greatly enjoyed by all as usual. Think there will be a Northern Irish Contingent at this years as well and lots of excitement about the International one coming to the U.K!! Was great to see everyone again with lots of lovely news to catch up on. Looking forward to the next one already. Until then wishing all a very Merry Christmas and Happiest of New Years.

TS Awareness Awareness day 2015

The TS NI Friendship Group will be having a Purple Picnic / BBQ

Stormont Estate on Sunday 21st June from 12noon

Please find a link below for more information about and directions to Stormont Estate. I thought we could meet at the picnic benches at the children's playground and enjoy the lovely sunny day it will be!

There will be lots of lovely chat, food and the grounds and playground to explore. All welcome, bring yourselves, some food and drink, the good weather and purple clothing or accessories if available. Spread the word and hope to see as many of you as possible on the day.

Till then best wishes

Christmas Do! - Saturday 29 November 2014 2 - 5pm

A date for your diaries folks.

It's always good to have a bit of a get-together at Christmas time so I've booked a place called Pizza Jazz in Belfast. It's on Great Victoria street -opposite the Europa Hotel.

www.pizzajazz.co.uk

It's not the traditional Christmas food but some pizza or pasta should go down a treat. It is completely reserved for ourselves as a private party. They have a karaoke and there are also musical instruments about if anyone can play.

For our younger people they can offer a pizza making workshop for £8.95 which also includes ice cream and a toy. I would need numbers for this so if anyone would like to avail of the workshop please let me know.

There is no set menu so everyone can just pick what they would like to eat of the menu. Everyone will just pay for what they order.

If anyone has any other ideas to make it a good afternoon please let me know. All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Please let me know if you are hoping to come so I have an idea of numbers.

Thank you

A few of us gathered at Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon's park in Belfast on Saturday 26 July.

Unfortunately the weather was not the best but it was certainly great to have a picnic and a catch up!

And Naomi brought another one of her fabulous cakes (never mind our waistlines!) It was also great to meet a new TS family.

Reminds us why these friendship groups are important.

The Northern Ireland Friendship Group got together to show off their 'purple power' by meeting at Botanic Gardens/Ulster Museum in Belfast.

We all enjoyed a lovely picnic (the weather was good!) and Naomi baked a gorgeous Raspberry and Limoncello cake which was delicious!

It was a great opportunity for people to get together and share stories and ask questions.

Hopefully, everyone not only enjoyed it but got something out of it as well! Till the next time!

Bring a picnic and wear something purple if possible. If the sun is out we can enjoy the lovely Botanic Gardens and if it's raining we can explore the museum.
