The Royal College of Art & Design and the Child Growth Foundation are asking you to ‘Design 4 Health’ and come up with ideas for the next generation injection device.
Great advances have been made in the development of injections devices. The evolution from needles and syringes to modern and easy to use 'Pen' and 'Smart' devices has been a big step for all patients. The question is where we will go next?
The Royal College of Art & Design and the Child Growth Foundation, in association with Merck Serono, would like to see what ideas young people have for the future of injection devices.
This award is an opportunity for budding young designers – or anyone with a spark of design genius – to design an innovative injection device.
The winner of each category – ages ‘under 13’ and ‘13 to 18 years’– will have the opportunity to work with a professional designer to further develop their ideas. They will also be invited to receive their award at a presentation held at the Royal College of Art & Design in London.
Entrants are asked to submit an illustration of their device design with a description (max 500 words) of their ideal injection device, explaining the functions it offers.
Let your creativity run wild.
